Theology
I am a Christian and I stand firm in my faith, but I love to hear someone talk about theology and debate points with other people. It gets me fired up, and makes me want to go research everything I can on these topics. I could listen to anyones point of view on theology and still be perfectly content.
Like today for example, a Calvinist came and talked to our class (of Arminians), as I looked around the room I could see my classmates blood start to boil. I could see the look of frustration on their faces as this man went on and on about his position on some aspects of Christianity. I on the other hand was captivated by what he was saying and motivated to spring into action. I wanted to find all the books I could on reformed theology and get into a debate with someone. I believe that when we hear someone elses point of view, or hear something from a different perspective, we should not get upset and complain that we had to listen to it. We should instead use that as a fire and a motivator to go and research and discover, and solidify our own faith. We need to be strong in our understanding and firm in our faith.
Hebrews 11:6 Says this: “And without faith it is impossible to please God,because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
So go out and seek him whole heartedly. Do not defend your faith when you don’t even know what it is you truly believe. Keep the faith. Believe.
